Privacy Policy

Ask by HuslAI (“Ask”, “the Service”) is operated by Kriten Enterprises Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what data the Service handles, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately simple: we collect the minimum needed to run the Service, we never sell your data, and we never share one customer’s data with another.

What Ask is (and isn’t)

Ask is a task-management and business-query assistant that works over WhatsApp and the web. It is not a general-purpose AI chat service. In line with WhatsApp Business and Meta’s policies, the Service only responds to task-management and business-related requests.

Information we handle

  • Account information. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address to create and secure your account.
  • Content you provide. The tasks, messages, and voice notes you send so the Service can carry them out (for example, creating a task or answering a question). Voice notes are transcribed to text so we can act on them.
  • Connected business data (integrations). If you connect a business account, we access only the data needed to answer your questions about it. Today you can connect Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads and Google Sheets. We ask for read-only access and only the data types we need.

Shopify

When you connect a Shopify store, we access your orders, products, and inventory (read-only) to answer your business questions, such as your sales, top products, or low-stock items. We store order-level business figures such as totals, dates, and line items. We do not collect or store your customers’ personal details such as name, email, phone number, or address.

Meta Ads

When you connect a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads account, we read your advertising insights: how your campaigns, ad sets and ads perform, such as spend, impressions, clicks and return on ad spend. We use them to answer questions like what you spent last month or which campaign did best. This is reporting only. We never create, edit, pause or change the budget of your ads, and we ask only for read permissions (ads_read and business_management). You can disconnect at any time (see Data retention and deletion below).

Google Ads

When you connect a Google Ads account, we read your campaign performance (cost, impressions, clicks, conversions and conversion value) and each campaign’s status, so we can show how your ads are doing and answer questions about them. We never create, edit or pause your campaigns. You can disconnect at any time.

Google Sheets and Google Drive

When you connect Google Sheets, we read only the spreadsheets you choose (spreadsheets.readonly and drive.readonly) so we can answer questions from them. We never edit, share or delete your files.

Ask’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Ask and HuslAI

Ask and HuslAI (huslai.com) are both run by Kriten Enterprises Pvt Ltd. If you use both with the same email address, the ad accounts you can see in Ask (Meta Ads and Google Ads) also appear in HuslAI, and an ad account you connect in HuslAI also appears in Ask. They are shown only to you and to people in your workspace who have integration access. We fetch each account’s data once and show it in both places. Your Shopify and Google Sheets data stay in Ask.

How we use your data

We use your data for one purpose: to provide the Service to you. That means answering your business questions and carrying out the tasks you ask for.

We do not:

  • sell your data,
  • share one customer’s data with any other customer,
  • use your data to train AI models,
  • move your stored business data outside India.

Where your data is stored

Your business data is stored in India, in the AWS Mumbai region. We do not move your stored business data outside India.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers strictly to operate the Service. Each is bound by confidentiality and may use data only on our instructions:

  • Shopify: the source of your connected store data.
  • Meta: the source of your advertising insights (read-only), when you connect a Meta Ads account.
  • Google: sign-in, voice transcription, AI processing of your requests, and the source of your Google Ads and Google Sheets data when you connect them.
  • Firebase Authentication: securing your account and sign-in.
  • Supabase: database hosting.

Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access credentials for connected accounts are encrypted, and access to data is restricted to what is needed to run the Service.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data only as long as you use the Service.

When you disconnect an integration (Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads or Google Sheets), remove someone from a workspace, or delete a workspace, access stops straight away. We keep the data for 30 days in case you change your mind and reconnect, so you don’t lose your history. After 30 days it is deleted for good, along with the access credentials for that integration.

Some deletions happen right away instead: if you remove our app from your Facebook or Meta settings, or uninstall it from your Shopify store, we delete that platform’s data as soon as the platform tells us.

You can also ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing team@kriten.in, and we respond within 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to restrict or object to its processing. To make a request, email team@kriten.in.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
